  • Chicano Art Magazine-This blog features artist and their works, as well as providing articles and views on Chicano art from across the country. Currently(12/05) is produced online but is scheduled for hardcopy national release as a quarterly in the summer of 2006. Also is currently requiring/looking for bloggers to contribute and give the down-lo on regional events and news. It was time for this kind of magazine.
  • Coronado Studios-With the Serie Project on its 12th year, Sam Coronado has impacted Chicano Arte by offering the opportunity for selected Chicano artists to work closely together with a master printer on limited edition serigraphs, nationally traveling the yearly serie  group exhibit, and offering for purchase each yearly serie group exhibit as a collection to Universities and Museums. The 12 year body of work is archived at Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Tejas...
  • Aye Chispas-Louie Guerrero works out of his sculpture studio at Gallista Arts Complex where he creates his amazing Muffler Men, Perritos, and Stick Men. His work combines scrap metal, discarded machine parts, chrome automobile bummpers, and gives it a new life.  Currently he is working on several commissioned and public works pieces. 
  • The Hispanic Research Center Latina(o) Art Community-This is the premier site to visit if you want to find out what is happening with Chicano Arte. Dr. Gary Keller and the amazing people that work with him have established the largest archive of Chicano Arte and Chicano Art History in the nation. Their 4 vollum Chicana/o Art Book series is a must have that is well worth the price. The conciseness of the art history in these books is matched with the amazing artwork and images that are documented.
  • Laura Molina-This site features L.A. Chicana Artist Laura Molina and her activist exploits...this chica is doing some awsome stuff. She is active in many areas and her site does a great job of featuring them for all to see.
  • The Latino Cultural Center,Dallas Tejas-Whenever you are in Dallas this is one of the places to visit if you want to find out what is happening with the Latino arte scene in north Tejas. Newly constructed and now in its second year, the LCC is a very strong performance/visual arts venue hosting both areas of the arts while distinctively focusing its attention to the latino community.
  • The Ice House Cultural Center,Dallas Tejas- Provides community-based arts and cultural programming for the North Oak Cliff and West Dallas communities. The Center provides artist workshops and classes for both children and adults that creates an environment for artists and students to be creative. They have a strong outreach with their murals in the community program.
  • The Narciso Martinez Cultural Center, San Benito TejasThis Rio Grande Valley center is the host of various events showcasing the cultural flavor and arte of the South Tejas region. They host monthly events, as well as book readings, poetry and musical events.

  • DezineMind-This site features artist and their works. It is a good way for San Antonio artists to get their work on the web with a fairly inexpensive fee for prospective patrons to view and consider purchase. The team at Dezine Mind also organizes exhibits at local venues.
  • The Bath House, Dallas Tejas-Provides innovative multicultural visual and performing arts and hosts a myriad of multidisciplinary events. The Center's energetic atmosphere and programming creates a hotbed for the nurturing of new works. The Bath House is an exciting place where artists and audiences meet to explore and enjoy the arts.
  • Robot Art Gallery-Robot is located in the heart of the Southtown Arts District within the King William Neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. The gallery, which opened in 2002, shows contemporary artwork by emerging artists within the space of the ROBOT design studio.

  • Jim Brandenburg-This site is still under construction and will be up soon featuring San Antonio 'Poet Laureate' Jim Brandenburg's work and including various updates about the poetry scene in San Antonio. Jim hosts a monthly open mic nite at Gallista Gallery on every Second Saturday of the month. He is also busy hosting other monthly poetry readings around town.
